Update on Bardon Beat Team Priorities

Anti-Social Behaviour

Throughout the week, officers have carried out numerous patrols within the Agar Nook and Greenhill areas, resulting in several positive interactions with local youths. One individual has been issued with a Community Protection Warning (CPW) for repeatedly carrying out targeted anti-social behaviour.

We have also seen an increase in reports of off-road bikes being used on local roads and green spaces. Enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible.

School Parking

Schools patrolled this week include:

•            Castle Rock High School

•            Newbridge

•            Ibstock Community College

•            Ibstock Junior School

•            Ellistown Primary School

During these patrols, several drivers were given words of advice regarding parking on double yellow lines and unsafe parking near junctions. Lets all do our bit to help keep children and families safe during busy school times.

Speeding

Patrols have also been carried out across villages within the beat area to address concerns about speeding. Further operations are planned in the coming weeks.
